Alex is thrilled to be returning to the Cruisers coaching staff for his tenth season with the club and fifth as a coach. Over the past 9 seasons, Alex has grown from barely being able to swim a length of the pool, into a provincial finalist. Alex was a volunteer coach for two years and has been coaching with Cruisers since September 2012. He is bronze cross lifesaving certified, and a certified level 1 NCCP swim coach. Alex has recently finished his second year as a student at Capilano University where he is working towards a degree in Liberal Studies and hopes to become a Teacher. Alex has thoroughly enjoyed his time with Cruisers, he’s had great coaches, made strong friendships, and is looking forward to helping the kids he’s coaching have a similar experience. Above all, Alex is looking forward to a fun and exciting season and can’t wait to get back to the pool!
